The process of engaging in creative and academic writing shaped the story of Pauline's “becoming” and liberated her from the shackles of old stories. Word by word, sentence by sentence, she left behind her “ordinary world”, crossed the “threshold” into adventure and rewrote her life story.  In the (re)-telling, she created a  narrative of possibility, a narrative that conveys the importance of “daring to dare”. A personal narrative with universal relevance. A narrative that encourages all individuals to heed and honour the call to write their stories. Pauline travels to venues throughout Ireland to facilitate weekly, monthly and weekend writing retreats for adults.
